Sunday dinner. The night when you are exhausted from the weekend festivities and the last thing you want to do is cook. Lawton played 3 AAU basketball games Sunday, so I knew he needed something hardy and Wyatt had eaten crap all weekend long. Streak it was. This recipe called for time, and I know I would never be able to work this out during the week.

This recipe was very easy, but you just need to be home for the 2.5 hours it cooks in the oven (truth be told, I went and got a manicure and pedicure and left the boys home). The steak came out tender and very tasty. I didn’t put the red pepper flakes in this because I knew the boys wouldn’t eat it if I did – the sauce also didn’t “thicken” up like is said it would in the recipe. I paired the steak with rice and asparagus and everyone liked all except the asparagus. 2 out of 3 ain’t bad 😉
All thumbs up!! (Law is exhausted FYI)

Definitely try this! I liked it as well, and yes, I do eat red meat (occasionally). We had enough left over that I will make a bowl with the rest of the steak tonight for Jack. Enjoy!!

Great Ñ–nformation. Lucky me I discovered your blog by accident (stumbleupon).
I have book-marked it for later!
