I had some ribs in my freezer and I was wondering how I could use them for my Recipe Roulette this week. I skimmed some of my recipe books and found this one – easy and looked pretty darn good! It came from my new cookbook Mad Hungry.
So, here is the thing. I got home around 4:30 and looked at the recipe….It says I could keep the rub on for 30 min – 2 hours….I did it for 40 min but I think it could have used longer. Jack also wasn’t home, so I did the oven route and he grilled for a bit when he got home. Jack told me that I should have done them at 250 instead of the recommended 350 especially since he was going to grill them at the end. He thought they were really tasty but would have liked them falling off the bone more. He definitely wants to try them again but grilled next time – he loved the rub.
Lawton on the other hand LOVED them and didn’t care that they weren’t “falling off the bone.” Wyatt had just had his braces tightened and couldn’t eat them, but the poor guys mouth was watering!!
