My boys eat a lot of burgers. I don’t eat much red meat, so I thought this sounded pretty good and maybe something they would at least try. A burger is a burger right??
It was pretty easy to make – lots of chopping. The thing is, they did NOT look very appetizing….I made Jack take them outside to the grill quickly so they boys didn’t see them because if they had, there is NO WAY they would have tried them! Jack was a bit iffy himself…..
I added cheese on top to give them some more flavor, and no one would try the yogurt sauce that I made to go with it (eye roll). Lawton was a hard NO (but Lawton is very picky). Jack gave it a 5 and Wyatt ate 3/4 of his. Needless to say, I won’t be making them again. A little too much spinach if you ask me – and not much flavor. Sorry Gwyneth, I still love you!
FAIL.
PS – they did have sides – they ate them while burgers were grilling 😉
