Heyyyy!

Hey everyone! My name is Brooke and I can’t believe I am doing this! I started a blog YEARS ago for family and friends to keep up with Lawton and when we got pregnant with Wyatt and found out that he had cleft lip and palate, it was my journal, my outlet and a way to educate people on cleft lip and palate. Then life got in the way and as a working mom of two young, crazy boys I didn’t have time to keep it up. If you want to read our journey – it is to the right of this page 😉

Fast forward to 2020, a pandemic hit and my work slowed down to next to nothing. I have been modeling on and off for 24 years and it is such a huge part of who I am, that I lost a bit of myself staying home and teaching my kids. I MISSED the interaction and I MISSED meeting new people and also seeing the same clients that I was so lucky to have had consistently over the years. I needed and craved an creative outlet.

I decided to get in touch with my friends, clients and people around Charlotte that own businesses. I wanted to promote them while this pandemic was happening….not knowing if anyone cared or was listening. I have done videos, photoshoots and have had the BEST time using my knowledge of style and beauty and collaborating with these talented women and men that have started their dream companies.

What you will get from this page….The style you will get from me will be a good ole tee shirt and jeans, a great deal and just easy breezy casual. Being in the fashion world for so long gave me such an appreciation for it, but my style is simple. I will not pay for things that can look just as good at a lower price. The beauty you will get from me is also simple….I wear makeup for shoots and get to learn about some amazing products from makeup artists that I will share, but I am super simple in that department too. And anything I do to my face (filler,botox) I will be transparent about and share – if a little tweak here and there makes you happy, I am ALL for it! I am 40 and not getting any younger 😉 My boys are 10 and 8 and I will keep you updated on the latest trends and gifts for them as well. Let’s just see how this goes!
