I don’t know about you, but I am INTO shoes these days! I want them all! I haven’t bought shoes in so long and there are so many fun styles out right now. Let me tell you about my friend Laryn Adams, owner of the coolest shoe store/truck you have ever seen. Isn’t she a beauty??? ELSTON is her name.
Laryn is from Maryland and went to school in South Carolina. After college she moved to Charlotte and worked in retail. Here’s the deal, she had always worked in retail – she started at 13 years old and worked at family owned retail businesses and her love of fashion started at an early age. In 2004 she opened up a clothing store in Charlotte called Chezelle that was super popular and very successful. She closed Chezelle in 2018…..and thought up Elston. A beautiful shoe store on wheels.
Laryn always LOVED shoes, so she found a delivery truck and reinvented it. She designed the glass sides and inside to make it feel bright, happy and like a true boutique. Her shoes range anywhere from $175-450. She thinks about the price point a lot of each shoe – she wants to be different, cool, but also withstand the trends.
Laryn has always tried to avoid labels and do what everyone is doing – that is what I love about her! She brings shoes in that are different, stylish but also wearable. When you shop at Elston (in person OR online!), you can get something that not everyone will have.

And here is the stylish, beautiful and so.much. fun, Laryn. She even spells her name in a cool way. We had drinks a few weeks ago and one glass turned into a bottle – she is so damn funny, SO REAL and I am so happy to call her my friend 😉 If you have the chance to meet her, you will instantly love her….and her shoes!!
