Elizabeth Tolley is one of the best makeup artists I have ever worked with. She is so incredibly talented and just has “it” you know what I mean? She has been a makeup artist for around 17 years now and Charlotte is lucky to have her! I mean, look at these eyes!!
We were asked to do an event with Whitley Hamlin, (@queencitystyle ) to help her out with her fundraiser for Running Works – it was a virtual event held and Tolley did a beautiful evening look with mostly Charlotte Tilbury makeup and I was the lucky model! If you know, you know, but Charlotte Tilbury is a great line.

Please head to my stories to see her do my full face and enjoy watching the process – she is a true artist!
Okay now for the details!!
For a big event or a photoshoot, Primer is always a great way to start. Primer creates a smooth canvas and also helps your makeup stay on all day. I love the way primer feels when I put it on – Primer fills in pores, tiny creases, flakiness and bumpy patches. If you have a job that starts early and ends late, this is for you. No smudges, smears or blotchiness. And who doesn’t love a setting spray?
Next Elizabeth started on my eyes. Every makeup artist is different, some do your eyes first and some do them last – each have their reasons! These lashes were so beautiful!!!! They were almost whispy-like. I will only want these from now on when I put lashes on for big events.
After the lashes dried, she mixed colors from this beautiful Limited Edition (get it now!) Charlotte Tilbury Eye Palette – there are 4 differnt color palattes in this – gorgeous! She lined both my upper and lower lids with MAC Pro Longwear Fluidline Gel. She applied a few strokes of the Tarte Mascara at the very end to just give my lashes that little oomph!
Next Elizabeth applied a mix of two of the Charlotte Tilbury Airbrush Flawless Foundations. Numbers 3 +6. Makeup artists will tell you that this is one of their favorite foundations – it is a hydrating foundation that is sweat proof, waterproof and transfer-resistant. That means it won’t get all over the masks we have to wear these days! The Becca powder sets everything in place and was very light.
Now time for Bronzer and Blush – my favs! This combo of both is genius!!

The Stoned Rose Look in a Palette is a all in one look – eye, cheek and bronze and contour. Beautiful!!

Here is the final look!! The ring light make my hair look yellow, but her makeup is amazing!! I almost forgot – lips! NARS lip crayon in Bettina and MAC half red lip pencil.
If you live in Charlotte and ever need your makeup done, she is amazing. Email me for her number 😉
