Its been a minute since I have done a recipe roulette and it was nice to try something new with our crazy weeks we have had. The boys have football every night from 6-8, so we have been eating later or out. If you follow me on Instagram, I found out that I am iron deficient recently, so I am trying to force myself to eat some red meat once a week. This was a delicious start. Easy, cheap and Jack and I loved it.
I didn’t make the salsa FYI, but definitely try it or add in some store bought. I seasoned the meat and left it out for about 2-3 hours.
The kids didn’t love this dinner. They liked the London broil, but the peppers, onions and sour cream weren’t a hit. I am trying my best to get them to try things like the peppers and onions, and they say it takes multiple times for someone to like a food….or is that for a baby?? 🙂 I definitely didn’t do the best job at giving them foods they didn’t like over and over when they were younger….I just did what I could to make them happy and those witching hours go by quicker!
We will get there. This was out of the Bride and Groom cookbook which I love. I just got a new cookbook and will post on that next week! I would say if your kids like all the ingredients in this recipe, your family will love it and give it a try!
