I met Jenny of Campbell + Charlotte for lunch on a blind date 😉 We had been messaging one another on Instagram and wanted to finally meet in person. She is so cute, so personable and I was instantly at ease with her easy going spirit. I mean, look at her? Don’t you feel like you already know her?

Jenny started out in the corporate world, got her MBA and after she had her daughter Campbell, she decided to follow her dream of making fine jewelry and owning her own company. She designs all of her pieces and sends her sketches to a refinery in NYC where they come to life. She uses all 14k gold, diamonds and beautiful gemstones.

Okay, here is the thing I love the most about Campbell + Charlotte. Jenny has also been working with clients from all over the US, melting their gold down and creating something unique and significant for them. (Gold is at a great price right now!) You can make something very special out of things you may have laying around the closet and never thought about! She had a client that had some gold passed down from her mom and searched around in her closet for other pieces that she didn’t wear, sent it to Jenny and bam! Got a check for $20,000!! UMMM SIGN ME UP. Jenny has such a great relationship with the refinery in NYC that you get a much better price going through her than your standard jewelry store. Are you still reading or did you rush to your closet to search for gold?? Let’s say you have the gold, and maybe a jewel that your husband or boyfriend gave you that you just never wear…she can work with you on reworking anything you already have. Here are some examples:

Jenny designs engagement rings, necklaces, bracelets, and a few small studs. Her prices range anywhere from $380- $7,300. It is really hard to pick a favorite, but if I had to, it would be the Crew Knife edge rings that are stackable. But she was wearing this at lunch and I had to try it on – it was so beautiful and I had never seen this “knife edge” before. Gorgeous. (top pic, far left) They would be so pretty stacked with wedding rings.
I think I would search my closet high and low and try to rework something I already have to make something special that I would wear everyday rather than let it sit in my jewelry box! I have a small diamond necklace that Jack gave me on our wedding day and unfortunately I never wear it – I am definitely going to work with Jenny on how we can make something special out of it when I scrounge up some gold to have money to pay for it!
Congrats Jenny! Check out her fine jewelry line here or get in touch with her about designing something special (and that you will actually wear!) from things you already own. Win win!!
