Since I don’t eat seafood, I am not good about making it for the boys. When I made salmon a few months back, it was a hit! I decided to go out on a limb and try a white fish to see how they would like it. This recipe from The Dude Diet Cookbook looked easy enough.
I was able to get everything but the fish at Harris Teeter. Whole Foods was the only place that had grouper – I tried 4 places! Jack warned me that fish has gotten expensive and it was….:$33 for 3 6oz fillets. Everything else was pretty cheap – I served it with a Caesar salad and Mac and cheese for the boys and some Broccoli/Cauliflower gratin from Trader Joes for Jack. (gotta love their frozen section!)

The kids are so picky and wouldn’t touch the salsa, which I figured, but I made it for Jack anyway. He thought it was delish and wasn’t too spicy with the jalapeƱos. Wyatt didn’t think the fish had much taste, Law was the same. They liked it alright, but still gave it a thumbs down. Jack thought it had great taste, but maybe the salsa helped. If you are a grouper fan, definitely give this easy recipe a try!

Here is the recipe below – Enjoy!!
