My boys start school in a little over a week and I don’t know about you but they can go through some shoes! If you have boys, you know they don’t require much….some tennis shoes, a pair of nice shoes, and shoes for every sport they play. Lawton unfortunately loves shoes and is very picky. I think when he was 7, he asked every grandparent, Santa and us for basketball shoes….and so that is what he got! 4 pairs! I usually get the boys each 2 pairs of tennis shoes at the start of the school year to alternate between…they aren’t cheap! Lawton has been in mens for a while now and Wyatt is only 1/2 a size away. We went to Dicks and Foot Locker and had some success. Here are some MENS picks and YOUTH boys that Lawton and Wyatt have put a stamp of approval on. Are they cool? We all think so, but these two do not lack in confidence, so hopefully you like them too!
MENS: Lawton has a pair of custom Air Force ones and they are all the rage. I love the blazers for church or a nice dinner – my boys don’t love loafers, so since they allow these at church, this is win. I only wish they were allowed at promenade! Air Jordans are such a classic shoe and collectible.

ALLLLL the kids have these days are ultra boost. Lawton has probably gone through 5 pairs and Wyatt 3. They are the best running shoes around – any salesman will tell you that. Adidas comes out with fun things like the newest lego shoe, Lawton has a Disney one, there was also a Toy Story one at one time – they kids think they are cool even if they are past that stage in life. Air Max is another household shoe over here. Great looking shoes and in my opinion, and last a long time.

Wyatt never really cared about shoes until recently and tends to follow whatever Lawton likes – a lot of ultra boost and he just got his first pair of Nike Air Max this shopping trip. I swear they give the kids an extra inch! I was happy to buy them because again, they last for a while. He also got a pair of ultra boost, because “you know mom, they make me run really fast”. I really love the Nike Air Max 270s too – Wyatt has had these for over 6 months and they still look great. They are another shoe that has longevity, but he has grown out of them.

Happy back to school shoe shopping!!
