When I met my friend Kat a few years ago through my boys, when I mentioned her name to anyone, they always said “Kat! Yes you know her from Addison Weeks!” Kat is half of a power duo that started this unique jewelry company – she started it with her friend Lee in 2012. The two southern women loved gemstones and statement jewelry, which has set them apart from everyone else.
They were listed as one of Oprah’s Favorite Things in 2016 (!!!!!!), they have been on GMA, printed in countless magazines and just added a design collection with Barrie Benson for Highland House Furniture. They can be found in boutiques across the country, Amazon Prime, One Kings Lane, the Mine, Houzz and Perigold. I seriously am so lucky to be around so many creative women!
The thing about Addison Weeks, is that it is not only beautiful jewelry, they have the most gorgeous hardware. When Kat said she wanted to do a photoshoot with me and another model, I was honored and thrilled. Kat, is so much fun – she lights up a room when she walks in and is the life of the party. I was so excited to be a part of something so special to her and didn’t want to let her down. I asked my friend Kellee to also model and let me tell you, we had the best day! My friend Olly was the photographer, and the makeup artist was also my longtime friend Jami. The stylist was Allison Welch – another friend of mine for years….we seriously didn’t want the day to end!
